Dowel Pins, Through Hardened, Plain, Alloy (Inch)
- Through Hardened Alloy Dowel Pins shall be made from any alloy steel capable of achieving the proper core hardness of Rockwell C47-58 and a case hardness of Rockwell C 60 minimum.
- Alloy Steel Dowel Pins shall be hardened by quenching in oil from austenitilizing tempering to meet the proper Rockwell hardness and case depth.
- Case Depth on 5/32 diameter & smaller: 0.010" min. 3/16 diameter and larger: 0.015" min.
