Multi-Grip Blind Rivets

Multigrip rivets are fasteners made from aluminum or steel and provide a wider grip range than standard blind rivets.  They are highly versatile and provide superior clamping force for applications involving large or irregular shaped holes. Multi-grip rivets also work for a wide range of material thicknesses and can be used to replace multiple sizes of standard rivets. Multigrip Rivets Provide Versatility for Various Fastening Applications

Aluminum has a lower tensile strength than steel but is a lightweight material that also provides corrosion resistance. Steel provides higher tensile strength but can rust in corrosive environments unless it has been coated.
 
When choosing a multi-grip blind rivet, you should always select a material that matches what you are using for your application. This will help prevent galvanic reactions that can weaken the strength of your multigrip rivet or the surrounding material. Multigrip rivets have a wider grip range and should be selected based on the thickness of your material, and the rivet diameter should match the size of your pre-drilled holes. Countersunk aluminum/steel rivets feature an aluminum body and zinc-coated steel mandrel and a head that sits flush with the material surface after installation. Aluminum is corrosion resistant and lightweight and zinc coated steel provides tensile strength and corrosion resistance.

Alum/Steel Zinc Large Flange Head Multi-Grip Type Blind Rivets

Features a larger flange head for use in oversized or irregular holes. Alum/Steel multi-grip rivets provide superior clamping force and a wide grip range and are made with an aluminum to provide resistance to corrosion.

Steel/Steel Zinc Dome Head Multi-Grip Type Blind Rivets

Features a domed-shaped head and designed for use in irregular or oversized holes. These multigrip blind rivets feature a steel zinc coated boy and mandrel to provide high tensile strength and corrosion resistance.
