Ultrasonic Inserts

Ultrasonic inserts for injection molding are designed for post-mold installation in thermoplastics and provide fast, positive anchoring that is installed into the plastics using ultrasonic vibrations or heat. Ultrasonic inserts are utilized to melt a border zone within an installation hole, where the ultrasonic process creates a vibration frequency that melts the plastic.

Ultrasonic General Inserts

After the plastic melts, the plastic will then re-solidify leaving the insert securely fit in place.

Self locking ultrasonic inserts for injection molding are manufactured with deformed threads which lock the screw in place to resist vibration. These highly useful metal inserts feature a flange design and provide beneficial locking features that are applied post molding into an appropriately sized straight or angled pilot hole.
